Do not abuse the products on an oil basis, try to give preference to the most light and liquid means. Over-application of oil can cause increased sweat production and even acne.
The only means of care that it is better to give up for the entire period of sunbathing is a scrub, especially coarse (based on powder from walnut shell or apricot kernels).

 

You can use softer scrubs - for example, based on oatmeal or with soft polymer particles. The most important vitamin for tanned skin is beta carotene. In the summer it is easy to get from vegetables and fruits of yellow, orange and dark green.


In addition to carotene, tanning skin needs animal protein, polyunsaturated fatty acids (olive, corn and rapeseed oil) and a lot of calcium. According to Italian experts, in the summer, calcium is best obtained not from fresh milk, but from the following grades of cheese: mozzarella, cheese, feta.

All products containing excess salt are harmful for tanning: smoked meat and sausage, fried potatoes, pickled vegetables. Such food causes, on the one hand,dry skin on the most tanning areas (arms, shoulders, decollete), and on the other hand, increases the separation of fat on the face, because of which the tan starts to go off quickly and unevenly.
But the most important condition of persistent bronze color on the skin is an adequate amount of water. According to American dermatologists, during a beach holiday, an adult should drink at least four liters of pure water per day. Water not only maintains the mineral balance in the body, it provides normal connections between all layers of the skin and does not allow the tanned tone to leave us prematurely.

 

 

Solarium as a means to maintain tan


The most effective means of preserving tanning is tanning beds. To date, salons have more than fifty varieties of tanning beds: horizontal, vertical, turbo, with the effect of sirocco, with special lamps for the face, chest, hands and feet.

This time is recognized by dermatologists and oncologists as the maximum allowable for fair-skinned and dark-skinned people.


Properly formed for 14 days, the tan stays on dark skin for up to 60 days, on light skin - up to 40-50 days, on practically white skin - up to 20 days.
After sunbathing, it is impossible to rub the skin with yogurt or cologne. Sour milk is less useful than with a special color-fixing milk, and you can ruin your skin with cologne.
