4 STAGES OF DEATH
According to Ayurveda, a person begins to die 2-3 months after birth. After 2-3 months of symbolic unfolding of our life (when one day after birth is equal to the next year of life), we gradually begin to die. What we are accustomed to consider life is regarded as the first stage of death.
The stages of birth and death cyclically replace each other like day and night or seasons. Subjectively, the 1st stage of birth and the 1st stage of death will seem almost the same in length, although one will last 5-6 months and the other will last for decades.
When the lifetime is exhausted, the 2nd stage of death begins, which lasts 9 days (hence the tradition to commemorate the deceased on the ninth day). You should know that in all the most favorable circumstances, it is almost impossible to postpone the time of death, since the term of life is given to us to perform a specific program (prarabdha and dharma-karma). If we do not fulfill our tasks, but on the contrary, in every way we destroy our physical body in favor of sensual pleasure, we can quickly shorten our lives.
At the beginning of the second period, when the heart stops and breathing stops, clinical death occurs. The lack of oxygen and glucose leads primarily to the mass death of neurons in the cerebral cortex. Subcortical and endocrine centers, bone marrow and other tissues die a little later. At this moment, our soul, along with the "thin" shells, is separated from the physical body, which, left without a vital principle, gradually begins to decompose.
Most of the "dead" in the first minutes and even hours after death, as a rule, do not see and do not realize. However, some are able to observe their body and the place where they died almost immediately. Others gradually regain consciousness and, remaining in the etheric envelope, acquire the former activity of the senses, mind and intellect. Here we realize that everything that was connected with us - family, home, work, country, wealth - is lost along with the physical body. They do not know what to expect next, so they are overwhelmed with fear. At the same time, one who has passed into the “other world” can read the thoughts of other people and immediately moves to the one who thinks about him. Therefore, the first 9 days, thinking about the "dead", you can send him good thoughts and thus really support him.His perception of the world in this period will be mixed with the most vivid memories of past life. The Gita says: “Thoughts at the time of death predetermine our future.” Some people think: “you can live as you please, and death will come, then we will think about God”. However, one should know that at the 2nd stage of death the further path of the personality will be determined. How we lived, what we dreamed about, what we were striving for, desired, and what actions we committed would dominate our mind and determine the future.
Previously, relatives invited a brahman who read the sacred canons for 9 days, helping the soul to overcome the transitional period; they urged the “deceased” that existence was not completed, he should calm the mind, concentrate on the spiritual and pray to God. Described the subsequent stages of the transition period, which are coming.
Not later than 3 days, the body was cremated, and the ashes were scattered over one of the sacred rivers. The cremation rite helped the deceased move away from attachment to the physical body and thereby reduced the time of his “otherworldly” suffering. However, some due to ignorance are trying to re-enter their already decaying physical body. Therefore, in the cemeteries and in the morgues, it is sometimes possible to see ghosts, the subtle bodies of the “dead” (due to their attachment, they cannot part with their physical body). Their etheric matrix luminesces in a certain direction of moonlight and exactly repeats the contours of the physical body of a person, or another form of life.
Someone thinks that instant death is the most successful. This is not true. A person suffering before death is morally more ready for it than a dying person at once, who at the second stage experiences a strong shock and cannot reconcile with her arrival.
The third stage of death - “the light at the end of the tunnel” - is connected with the exit of the soul through one of the 350 thousand nadi channels. In accordance with the chosen program, which emerges in the mind, like water bubbles, we enter the channel that is illuminated by the Paramatma, a localized form of God, which accompanies us throughout all material existence. In accordance with the level of our consciousness, we can see the appearance of Paramatma, or just the light coming from God. Each channel has its own shade - purple, blue, red, green, orange, etc. The Tibetan Book of the Dead explains the meaning of these shades.Depending on the color, you can understand what form of life and what place of the Universe we are going to.
The third stage of death in the Earth’s calendar is 40 days, although subjectively this may seem like an eternity. Remembering the deceased on the 40th day is a mistake, because you need to add another 9 days to 40. Only on the 49th day the deceased ends his earthly existence. At this time, the etheric body completely disintegrates and all information is rewritten to one of the matrices of the Universe.
After 49 days, the fourth stage of death will come - the stage of liberation. You will feel yourself as a completely free person, as an actor who has finally played his part in the play. You will be in a special state when you are shown your future "scenario", your new "space corridor". At this time, you will learn what you have to do in the next incarnation, at the next stage of your evolution. You will see your future parents and find out what obstacles and temptations you will meet in your life path. You will experience at the same time the joy of liberation, and perhaps the fear of a new and unknown fate. At this time, you will realize that you are a spiritual person and you will pray to God that He will never leave you on your difficult path ...
